Introduction
At Punalur Taluk Headquarters Hospital, the Department of Orthopedics is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of bone, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions. The department handles a wide range of orthopedic issues from fractures and trauma to arthritis, spinal disorders, and pediatric deformities ensuring timely and expert care for all age groups. With specialized orthopedic consultations, surgical interventions, and plaster care, the team works closely with emergency and physiotherapy units to deliver comprehensive care. Future upgrades aim to include arthroscopic services and advanced joint replacement programs to further expand our surgical capabilities.
